Eligibility Requirements
Compared to other skilled or investment visa lines, the 858 Global Talent visa has simpler conditions for participation because it does not require a skill assessment or high financial requirements. Applicants only need to meet the following criteria:
- There is no age limit, but applicants should be between 18 and 55 years old
- Degree in Master or Doctorate
- No skill assessment required
- IELTS 4.5 or PTE 30
- Proof of income that meets Fair work standards (currently updated from July 1, 2021 is AUD 153,600)
- Have an outstanding international record in the field you are working for
- Must be nominated by at least 1 person with Australian PR (or Australian citizenship) and working in the same industry.
